You are emptiness
You are space
You are disappointment and half formed hates
You are loneliness and nagging aches
You are maybes and likes to take
Quietly average
My heart breaks

Reasons Why Being Single is Better

1. I can wear glossy, glittery, flavored lip gloss and there is no one to complain about it.

2. I don't feel obligated to shave my legs every day.

3. I save money!

4. I don't have to pretend to care about cars, car parts or anything related to their maintenance.

5. More sleep!

6. Healthier meals!

7. More time with friends!

8.I'm free to travel and meet new people.

9. I can go to Grad school and not have to worry about fitting in time for a boyfriend.

And most importantly...

10. I'm back in control of the remote.
