I guess some of the freedom is to be found right smack dab in the middle of "our inability to live up to it". We can't live up to the law, but our God loves us wildly anyway. So, it's not so much freedom from that expectation perhaps, as it's freedom to live knowing we're not condemned, despite our worst, most horrible sins.
But maybe I'm not articulating a big chunk of it too. I do feel free though.

Yes, we are set free, but aren't we set free from sin? If not that, then what are we set free from?
